The Clean Energy Improvement Program is available in participating municipalities in Alberta. Check out the list of municipalities with programs available for residential property, including detached and semi-detached homes, town houses, and low-rise apartment buildings:

Looking Ahead

Only municipalities which have passed an applicable bylaw can begin the process of launching a clean energy improvement program. Alberta’s first municipality launched late in 2021 and the program will continue to launch in new markets several times a year.

Programs for residential property owners expected to launch in coming years include:

• City of Beaumont
• Lac La Biche County
